We're all moved in to our new abode... it was hectic trying to get it all done and we are certainly NOT unpacked yet, but it's finally done at the old residence. Hooray!
If you'd like the new address, let me know! :)

New Excitement for the New Year.....
So, many new things have taken place already in 2009 -
We just found out on Wednesday that I am pregnant! We are all so excited!!!! Elise will finally be a big sister and Ryan and I are so excited to bring a life into the world together...
We are prepping for our move at the end of the month - to that end, Elise had her last day of school at Central Avenue today. On Monday she'll start a new daycare and start her new elementary school - the cool news? That she'll be in the same school that my dad teaches in - Mountain View in Puyallup... she's excited about that and I'm really glad too. I think it will make the transition easier for her. She is sad to leave her friends at Central Avenue, but we made sure to keep them aware of her contact info so they can keep in touch.
Work is looking good for me - I am a temp right now, but there have been rumblings of making me a permanent employee earlier than the temp term. I hope so!!! That would be great - probably a bit better pay too. I really like where I am.
On a musical note - my Christmas concerts were cancelled due to the weather, but our rescheduled performances are tomorrow - so it will be fun to sing the music we worked so hard on. In another venue, I am looking to become part of the music worship team at our church - I have a meeting with the musical director on Thursday. The parks and rec music/theater classes I was going to teach got cancelled, but I think it will be alright - our schedule is pretty full and I'm keeping myself involved in music enough!
So, many exciting things are happening and we're very grateful and blessed!

2009 - Life is Devine!

As I say goodbye to the year of 2008, I am very thankful for the opportunities and challenges that I was faced with. To name a few:
* having the front part of my car bashed in by a crazy driver - luckily he had insurance!
* the eminent need to relocate out of a moldy duplex to save the health of my family
* the loss of jobs for both Ryan and I
* the gaining of new, better jobs for both Ryan and I
* Elise started 2nd grade!!!!
* a beautiful, wonderful wedding day!!!! (April 12th)
* a surgery to remove my gall bladder and eliminate the continuous health issue it was causing!
* going to Silverwood with Ry and Elise!
* crazy hell in court with a modification for child support
* repairing relationships with family and seeing healthy behavior from them!!!!
* gaining a new mom and dad and grandparents! Go Messers!
There are many more things that took place and all in all, it was a pretty good year.
Now on to 2009!!!
We will be moving to Puyallup at the end of January so that Ryan doesn't have to commute as far! Hooray!
Elise will be going to the same school that my dad teaches at due to where we are moving - I'm excited about that!
I have a great new job at Potelco and while it's currently a "temporary" thing, it may become permanent - a great place to work!
Ryan will test out of the apprenticeship and become a journeyman electrician!!!
We are going to try to grow our family this year - I'm excited at the prospect of adding a new little Messer to the fam!
There is more than just those few things as well, however, for the sake of time, let it suffice to say that 2009 is going to be Divine!!!!

Happy Holidays!

Happy holidays!
Here is a picture of Elise with Santa - it was taken today at the mall. She also lost another tooth today - that makes two in a matter of a couple of weeks... a little late for Halloween, but she looks like a cute little jack-o-lantern!
I can't believe it's already December! It's been a crazy and busy year, but lots of great things happened to make up for the curve balls. I AM looking forward to 2009, though!

The Alchemist
... a very profound book that I would recommend to everyone!!! "The Alchemist" is by Paulo Coelho. It's a few hour read and it's amazing!
So, to follow my heart and my Personal Legend, I would have to say that I have, do, and always will be passionate about creating music and sharing it with as many people as I can. The music I have written has already helped other people who can relate to it and thus express emotions they were repressing. I've been looking into getting a phsychology degree or at the very least taking some classes in music therapy. I think I would like to help troubled youth, those in 12 step programs and others through music. That would be my life's calling.
Now to get there.....
